JIJI SWEET
JiJi Sweet began
her career as senior year at
the University of Arizona. After
practicing for about a year,
Sweet landed her first gig with
the local Kappa Alpha Psi chapter.
Sweet soon became one of the
most sought after deejays in
Tucson, holding down almost
every greek function at the
university.
A few years later
while selling mix cd's at the
local swapmeet, Sweet was referred
to the mixshow coordinator at
Tucson's Hot 98.3. Soon after,
Sweet became a regular on the
Mixmasters Show and has been
mixing for HOT 98.3 since November
'98.
Sweet went on
to work in Las Vegas on KCEP
Power 88 as host of the Mixdown,
and in 2002, began mixing everyday
at Noon on LA's 100.3 The Beat
with Nautica De La Cruz.
Currently performing
regionally in Los Angeles, Phoenix,
Tucson, and Las Vegas , Sweet
can be heard in several different
markets. Somehow managing a
hectic schedule, Sweet mixes
Monday thru Friday on 100.3
The Beat and Saturday nights
on Tuscon’s Hot 98.3.
She can also be heard on several
stations across the country
thru Superadio.
